Burhan Gebhardt was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1962. After finishing his studies of Psychology at the University of Berlin he stayed for several years in India where he studied Yoga with B.K.S. Iyengar and Vinod Dulal. Later he gave classes in London, Berlin and Vienna.
Together with his wife Arifah he started consulting work for business companies in the field of personal and personnel and organizational development. Among others, the work of Bert Hellinger in the underlying structures of families and corporate constellations became a great influence.
Burhan travels between Egypt where his wife is teaching at the Cairo University, Europe and the United States working as a consultant for business companies and non-governmental organizations.
