Laura Longley is the founder of Blue Heron Wisdom, a global organization dedicated to inspiring evolutionary change on the individual level, sharing wisdom and knowledge towards achieving these changes, and spreading encouragement to overcome obstacles and stay the course of self-determination.

Laura's own journey in self-discovery and greater authenticity informs all her actions and interactions. Six years ago Laura had a huge "a-ha" moment. After years of messages from the Universe, which got progressively louder and more painful, she finally got it - she was in the wrong career!

Laura chose to follow the dream she had held for the previous 15 years of being a psychotherapist, beginning her private practice in 2009. Fast forward to November 2011. While attending Robert Holden’s happiness coaching certification course, Laura experienced how it felt to be whole and perfect - right now and always.

With this new understanding came personal and professional changes. Laura's focus now is on helping others to be more authentic, to grow towards always being more of who they really are at their core, and to love and accept themselves as the truly perfect beings they already are.

Laura is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Professional Coach and Certified Happiness Coach. She co-authored the book 101 Ways to Enhance Your Career, has appeared as a career expert on a local television news series, and has spoken to professional organizations on the topic of ideal career discovery.

As a life-long learner, Laura calls upon her own extensive life experience, intuition, and formal and informal education to inspire, enlighten, and encourage others to discover themselves and their life purpose, to unleash their passion, and to speak their truth.
