Dr. Joe Pecoraro
Dr. Pecoraro was born and raised in New Jersey. He attended the University of South Florida where he obtained a BA in Zoology, followed by an MD degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. After a Surgery residency in University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey, two additional years of training were completed in the subspecialty of Vascular Surgery. He is a solo Vascular and General Surgeon in Bradenton, Florida and the founder of the Cosmetic Vein Clinic of Florida, Inc. He was elected to serve as the Chief of Surgery at HCA Blake Medical Center for three consecutive terns. In addition to his surgical publications, he has been a featured expert on many television shows. Dr. Pecoraro serves as one of the Medical Directors for Take Shape for Life and he currently has achieved the level of Global Executive Director. Through his Take Shape for Life business he has helped thousands of individuals get on the road to health.
As an active church member, he is also on the Board of a local Christian radio station and Co-Founder of Hearts Afire, a 501 C 3 non-profit organization. Since 1999 Dr. Pecoraro has also shared his passion for giving and his medical expertise while leading many medical mission trips to developing nations.
