Dr. Lois Brittell
Dr. Lois Brittell was born in Canada and lived there until the age of eight. She has maintained an emotional tie to things British. From then on she lived in California in various places. Her husband transferred often so she is currently in her 16th home. This gave her plenty of experience in interior decorating which was her hobby during her marriage.
Becoming a psychologist was her second career, the first one having been in business. She practiced clinical psychology from a Christian perspective for
thirty years and felt very blessed to have been able to help many people during that time. She specialized in treating anxiety, depression and marital problems.
After the death of her husband she focused on writing her book. It was published by Westbow Press, a division of Thomas Nelson. She has begun writing a study guide to accompany the original text, "It's All about Him: Intimacy With God." The title of the study guide is "It's All about Him: Intimacy With God A Path to Restoration."
Dr. Brittell has enjoyed writing all her life. This is now her focus and enjoyment. She also enjoys spending time with God in prayer and meditation. She lives in the central San Joaquin Valley of California.
