Hello friend!
I cannot believe we are yet again talking about the holidays. As many of you know, I was remarried to Cory, a firefighter and lover of Jesus, and became a "bonus mom" to four handsome, high energy boys. Berlyn, who is now six, has adjusted beautifully to our large family and has learned how to be tough and stick up for herself. Needless to say, our life is crazy, messy and beautiful and we are so grateful for all of God's mercy, grace and blessings.
Okay, enough about me. Let's talk about YOU. How have you been treating yourself lately? Are you still struggling to say "yes" to self-care and self-love because everyone wants a piece of you? Can I give you some truth in love? No one wants a stressed out, angry, tired and discontent version of you (or me). So, it is necessary (and beneficial for all involved) to prioritize yourself so you can be whole, healthy and available to your people.
I firmly believe that our rituals (or habits) are what shapes us. What we do most of the time is far more powerful than what we do every once in a while. I want to help you create some new habits during a season that most people CHECK-OUT and default to self-destructive behaviors. Once again, I will be offering a Fitmas challenge to give you an opportunity to create more positive daily habits that will bless you well-beyond the holiday season. In less then 5-minutes a day, you will FEEL the results physically, mentally and emotionally. Do you have 5-minutes for you? If you are struggling to answer this, let me give you a hint - YES YES YES!
