Jodi Orton and her husband live in Warsaw, MO. They have 10 foster/adopted children, 9 of whom are still at home. The family lives on a wildlife conservation property where they provide forever homes for large animals.
Jodi is a Reactive Attachment Disorder specialist as well as an outspoken advocate for transitional youth with disabilities. The family was named the 2011 Foster Family of the Year by the National Foster Parent Association and chosen that same year to share their story about purposeful living and making a difference.
Jodi is the author of three children's books and was featured in an award-winning documentary, Gold Medal Service, about her work with Special Olympics in Iowa.
